Review on Highly Efficient SGLEDS Enclosed Fixture with 2200 Lumens by John Destruction

This is a nice sized, very long lasting LED bulb that has a very high quality look. Over the past 6 months I have slowly transitioned from standard bulbs and CFL bulbs to LED models. Until recently I have not found one that could be used in sealed devices. Even in loosely sealed fixtures, many of the LED bulbs I bought were larger than their old-school counterparts, so I couldn't use LED bulbs. My biggest issue was the lighted ceiling fans. These bulbs are equivalent to standard 60W bulbs (800 lumens) but are much smaller than standard 60W bulbs. They are closer in size to the 25 watt light bulbs you put in refrigerators. so they easily fit into ceiling fans. I like that they have a color temperature of 5K (very white). In the past I've had issues with the lifespan of some LED bulbs when used in smaller fixtures. I suspect it is heat related and having multiple bulbs in a small fixture or one bulb in a cramped fixture presumably affects the number of hours the bulb has been in use. I haven't had them long enough to ensure they last as long as I expect from LED bulbs, but will keep an eye on them if I find them burning out early. For now I agree that they were designed for this particular use case and expect them to work well. They're not dimmable, but for the spots where I need them, that's not a problem.
