I was so hoping our 9 year old grandson who loves Lego, soccer, architecture and classics would love this. We gave him the Colosseum first, which he was very keen on getting based on his interests, but while the pieces are sturdy, they are more difficult to put together (even I have to use pliers to squeeze them) so it ended up being a frustrating project. which is now unfinished in the corner. I was hoping that this Real Madrid stadium would be a fun project for us on a rainy day to work together, but given the Colosseum experience I'm afraid that this purchase could be a waste of investment, since it doesn't feel like balancing it take care of them. Maybe he'll like it when he's older.
