Stylish watch with disappointing features

I'm a long time fan of Timex watches. I have owned many of these over the years and have found them to be sturdy, reliable and great value. So I really wanted and expected this watch to please. Unfortunately, he just had too many problems. Pros: I love the analog activity bar on the watch face, which lets you know how close you are to your goal without pressing any buttons or reaching for your phone. And I love how it automatically sets the time when synced with the app. I like the crisp precision of the seconds hand. The pedometer is adjustable and I find it very accurate. The Indiglo night light is a Timex signature feature that I really like as well. Cons: The watch case is very thick and heavy and doesn't easily slide under a buttoned shirt cuff. I find the gold markings on the dial very difficult to read - they are obscured by reflections from the glass surface. After nine months of wear, the dial markers began to lag behind the dial and float in the glass. I had numerous issues syncing with the app. The watch should store up to 6 days of data, but I've found that if I don't sync it every day, past data is often lost. The only activity feature that works really well is the pedometer. When synchronizing, the clock hands sometimes get lost and need to be recalibrated (fortunately, this isn't that difficult). The advertised "one year battery life" was significantly reduced - after nine months, although the app still said the battery was "good", the clock stopped syncing with the app, the night light stopped working and the Second hand started working. Steps at two-second intervals are all signs of a low battery. I was very surprised that the app couldn't detect the bad battery even after it affected these basic functions of the watch. And I found the battery to be incredibly difficult to replace - you really need a case cutter to open the watch and a watch press to seal it again. I think that's why there are no instructions for this very necessary task (I've noticed that other hybrid watch manufacturers include a tool for this purpose). I've really searched, but it falls far short in terms of functionality and ease of use.

Pros

Cons
