I love this stuff! Suitable for styling products

After developing a pixie haircut I struggled for months to style my hair or do anything other than style it flat and rough. I have very thick hair and it has reached an uncomfortable length, not enough to style but just enough to be heavy and flat. I've been trying to find products that are strong enough to hold my style (or just WORK) without leaving greasy hair and I can say this product WORKS. First, some people have complained that it makes their hair greasy. "sticky". Considering it's a styling powder, yes, that's how it works. It "sticks" to your hair, adding texture and volumeβ€”that's the whole point. The only thing you don't want to do with it is spray it all over your head or spray too much in one spot because suddenly that goo becomes a mess. And of course the amount you need depends on your hair type. If you have thick and heavy hair like mine, you need to use more powder. If you have fine, blonde hair, you definitely need to be careful about how much you spray. A little can make a big difference. To make sure you don't spray too much, give the powder a few seconds to gather by playing with the area you sprayed and "sticking" it. You'll feel it when it works. If it doesn't seem strong enough, add a little more and repeat the process. Also, for those who like the sticky feel, if you're applying any product to your hair, you should still avoid running your fingers through it. Whether it's lotion, cream, powder or hairspray, playing with your hair will invalidate the product and only make your hair greasy. So unless you run your hands through your hair after using powder, you shouldn't have a problem with the sticky feeling. Also not visible. And the powder settles quickly. Second, other people have complained that it's difficult to get it out of their hair. I don't understand this question - I have thick hair that's already difficult to wash, but I've had no problems with this powder. If you overspray your hair then yes, maybe I can understand your brushing issues. But if you use it properly, it should wash off like any other product. Honestly I like it. It not only adds volume to my hair but also helps with texture and styling. Like I said, I have a longer pixie and this stuff was magic at helping my hair hold and give it the body touch it needs. Its grip is also holding up pretty well. When I get to the point late afternoon/early evening where I no longer feel like the 'gum' in my hair/style is falling out, I just apply a little more and Viola is like new! Definitely recommend!
