I have this small 60GB drive as the main boot drive on a Linux server. This hard drive allows my Lubuntu OS to fly for everything I do. For a smaller operating system, I would unreservedly recommend one of these Kingston SSDs. If you're using Windows, you're not going to get much with 60GB, so I'd go for something bigger. Note. If you are using an SSD, make sure TRIM is enabled! On Linux you need to enable TRIM as it is different on most distributions. In the case of Ubuntu, it's been supported more automatically in recent versions, but you still need to find it and make sure it's enabled.
