Perfect upgrade for 2016 4Runner

Update: The alarm has been working fine for a few months now. There was a time when the car started not overturning every time and it turned out to be a battery fault, not an alarm. I swapped out the battery for a high capacity battery and everything was great again. I couldn't be happier with this alarm clock. I recommend having it installed by a professional. I installed it a few days ago. Here is my experience. I installed this at a professional alarm/stereo shop. The first thing I would suggest is to have a wire color code handy before you start. Tech support sent me one for my car the day after I reported my issue. (More on that later) The installation went smoothly and took about 5 hours. Most of the time I checked the wires (it didn't have a wire color code) and checked the sensors and wiring. Everything worked on the first start, but with a remote start the car started, and then every 5 seconds they tried to start it again, even if the car was running. Sure enough I replaced the wire he said and connected it to the wire he suggested and boom. Finished. what i want to know It doesn't come with a shock sensor. Luckily it has a derivative to add. (tech support contacted me. 9am posted) Also, I usually like a red flashing armed light to scare people away. There is no option to add this. The features are nice. One thing I noticed is that I'm in their usual place in the house with my keys and that must be the end of the range because the truck kept locking than unlocking. Do not worry. There is an easy way to disable (press 2 buttons for 5 seconds) and enable passive locks. There is nothing easier. Have a spare key ready. You will most likely need one. The chip inside needs to be attached to the lock cylinder, and the key pin itself needs to be inserted into a regular keyhole. Have a full backup key ready. Just in case. Finally, I hope this alarm will be as reliable as any other aftermarket alarm that I have installed in many vehicles with no problem. If it goes wrong, it really will be a piece of junk. But I hope it's as reliable as all other keyless alarms. I'm tempted to buy another $60 alarm clock just to have on hand in case something bad happens. The time will show. Overall I like this remote control. This is exactly what I was looking for. (except for the shock sensor and red light) turned my 2016 4runner into a modern truck. Customer service was excellent. Remember he is in China. Hours of operation and responses may vary. I'll let you know if anything bad happens. If there is no update, trust that it works fine.
