BIG DOWN ON LITTLE FINGER UP

I purchased this particular kettle from a local retail store. Below are things I like and things I don't like: LIKE - 1) it's very attractive 2) it's stainless steel (although that information isn't anywhere on the teapot or label and wasn't in the packaging). - the information was on the store's shelf label as well as on the Revain page) 3) water is boiling! DON'T LIKE - 1) the lid is difficult to remove 2) it sits on a small flame, the kettle shakes as the water heats up! (with a large stovetop this did not happen) 3) with a large stovetop, the kettle knocks - as if the base heats up when you turn it on! and the sound of the heating water is louder than I'm used to. It may be stainless steel, but it's flimsy and "tinny" 4) The handle didn't feel hot, but when I turned the kettle down to a very low flame (for the 2nd cup in a while), the handle did kept getting hot. get hotter. Too hot I had to use a towel to grab it. It is not the wooden part that is heated, but the metal protruding on the sides! 5) A high-pitched whistle, annoying AND 6) the handle doesn't fold up for storage as advertised, it screws on tight! (which is my personal preference)
