The retractability of this towel is by far its biggest advantage! I've had countless rags flapping around in my cleaning products over the years and I just love how compact this one is! It retracts smoothly, just long enough to reach every nook and cranny on my shelves and retracts so nicely and compactly! Dust collects easily, as evidenced by a dirty cloth after use! The only downside I can think of is that depending on what you're cleaning, the square plastic body that the rag comes out of can hit what you're cleaning. My son was dusting our TV and I was concerned about the plastic edge that kept hitting the screen. If you are gentle, this is not a problem! The retractable head got my 5 year old joining the game and I'm not complaining!
