A few months ago we stumbled across the world market with a quirky but somewhat charming chair made from a similar faux fur material and a rustic looking tree. We kept thinking about it and ended up having to go back to get it. I saw this cushion and thought it would be the perfect addition to the sofa to tie everything together. When it arrived I was a bit disappointed to see that the color of this pillow is actually quite white as opposed to the 'natural' fur/wool color I was thinking. This is a really cool shade of white as opposed to a warmer natural tone. Anyway I still like it but I took off a star because it seems fake and cheap. The chair, although artificial, looks and feels like real sheep's wool/fur; and that's what I was hoping for. This pillow, on the other hand, is immediately and obviously a fake. Labeled as fake, I wasn't expecting it to actually look all real - that would be an unrealistic expectation. But I also hoped it wouldn't look so blatantly synthetic. Also, the firmness makes the pillow feel cheap compared to other throw pillows I have that are made out of a much softer pillow.
