Carhartt has always been my favorite clothing and outerwear so I wanted to try one of their bags. The material of this bag is of good quality and makes a robust impression. It is quite light, the stitching is done qualitatively and neatly. I like the wide adjustable strap as it is more comfortable than the straps on most handbags. I can use it as a crossbody or shoulder bag. As for the depth of the main compartment, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it easily fits the length of a typical full-sized women's wallet. (And there's room for keys, phone, etc.) I'll buy another one in a different color.
