This case is great. The rotating handle on the back is perfect for holding your tablet securely with one hand. The desk stand works great in landscape mode (very stable and great angle) and can be used in portrait mode (not so stable and not so good angle). It feels solid and the tablet should be able to withstand significant drops. The material is not slippery at all, so you don't have to worry about it slipping out of your hands. I have a Samsung keyboard case and it offers little to no drop protection. This case does not have a direct screen protector, so please purchase a screen protector for your tablet. I haven't installed mine yet but it seems to fit in the case. The raised edge in this case should protect the screen from falls of any kind except falling onto an uneven surface, such as a desk. B. A gravel driveway where a rock could hit the screen if the screen were to fall on the gravel. Great universal case for Tab S4. I bought 4 different cases trying to find a balance between drop protection, being able to watch videos when the tablets are on the table and carrying the tablet securely.
