I have a Denon receiver and am having trouble assigning cable inputs. This is a great receiver, but high tech means more sophisticated. I just wanted to be able to connect an HDMI cable and that was it. Easy. Then I found this. Thank God! I connected the white adapter to the back of the Wii. I used the HDMI cable that came with the adapter to connect to the receiver and it worked like a charm. No trouble. No reprogramming or reassignment. He works, he says he did it. Now I don't have a bunch of cables connected. The sound quality is excellent. The video quality was great. I was using a projector and was a bit worried but had no problems at all. I highly recommend this for a very basic setup and for anyone who only wants to connect their Wii via HDMI. No need to buy your own HDMI cable as the included cable is long enough to reach 3-4 feet.
