Review on Felpro MS 98014 Intake Manifold by Pranav Osman

This is the one you want!

In a world of cheap options, you can't skimp on such an important component. It was just what we needed. This complete kit gives you more than you will ever need and covers everything related to the intake system. I thought the shot was taken beforehand but they used cheap plastic gaskets instead. Now combine cheap parts and crappy shop labor and you have disaster. You overtightened the lower intake manifold and blew the gaskets on reinstallation, causing the problem to recur. No wonder I bought the car so cheap. But I was able to properly diagnose the problem before it got worse. Thanks to the use of much higher quality gaskets in this kit, this engine will not have this problem for the rest of its life. I also recommend doing valve cover gaskets every time you get that deep into the engine. A few extra minutes can and will save you a huge headache later. You can't price good service. Your car is your investment. Take care of him and he will take care of you in return. I also recommend replacing the upper intake plenum and gasket entirely while you're here. Also available here on Revain. The Fel-Pro is back and the vendors here will get you exactly what you need for less than the parts store and just as quickly. I have attached a photo of the final installation of the lower air intake with this gasket kit on my GM 3800. The only thing I recommend other than what's included is RTV sealant. You get black in this kit, but we went with the red high-temp RTV. Last week this car drove 23 hours straight and did 1,500 miles with no problems. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!
