Poor adhesion and slow screen response

First of all, the installation went well. I watched some installation tutorial videos to make sure I understood what to do. It took a while just because I was doing it slowly and trying to be careful as my screen got shattered by broken glass - it's not the fault of the replacement screen. After installation, the screen worked, but I noticed that the response time was a bit sluggish. It takes 1/2 to 1 second to register an action. The iPad is primarily used as a picture frame or webcam for viewing, so I rarely touch the screen, but I could see that this would be undesirable when actively using other apps. Also, after a couple of weeks, the screen started to pop off around the edges. I made sure to give the frame surface a good clean with a razor/exacto and rubbing alcohol to remove the old residue but that still didn't help. After a couple of weeks I lifted the screen and carefully applied superglue. It's been running ever since. If it were not for these two disadvantages, it would be great for such a price and with your own hands.

  • Great for me
Cons
