As a very slim young man (28" waist with muscular hips) fits me better than Hanes the same size, although I prefer Hanes for a tank top. I've worn panties since I was a child and have tried many different brands since then. Advertised waist size is the same, Fruit of the Loom L for boys is roomier in the crotch area and is likely to fit most older boys and slim males better than the Hanes counterpart.
