Review on πŸ”Œ High Capacity 128GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive | Black MOSDART Thumb Drive with LED Light by Greg Birchfield

Revainrating 1 out of 5

OK. 3 out of 5 survived 3 days. but 2 died within 3 months and one is on his deathbed.

The seller asked for a review 3 days after receiving the package, so here it is. 3 out of 5 worked; one survived 3 reads and writes, the other 2, one read/write each. The other 2 are still in the box. It's 8GB, USB 2.0. At a price per gigabyte, it's about five times more expensive than buying larger USB 3.0 devices. I bought these because me and a couple of friends use a USB 2.0 device with a max size of 8GB. So they are exactly what I needed and get a 4 star usage rating. However, I wouldn't give these as gifts or buy them for myself if it weren't for the limitations of the Laguna IQ. As for durability, the rating is a penalty for the seller who asks for a rating on the subject after 3 days. If they want a real review, resubmit the review request in a year or two. UPDATE: Well, I said earlier that I "penalized" the seller for requesting an inspection less than a week after receiving the item. now i know why After 3 months of use, 2 out of 5 items failed completely. Completely and completely unreadable on any of the 5 devices I've tried them on. There goes the third device. A week ago I got a read error and Windows told me I needed to reformat the drive. I have made. After 2 days I got a Windows message saying the drive is corrupt and I need to scan it. I did that and the last folder I wrote the file to turned out to be a file of undetermined type. Yesterday the drive got corrupted and had to be reformatted. It was. The files will be copied to it. Today I moved the device to another laptop - no windows warnings but - both files I tried to move between computers were unreadable in the destination location. On the plus side, 2 out of 5 had no bugs. one functions; moderate frequency of use - read or write about every other day for 3 months. The 5th block had no problems either; but it may have something to do with not using it yet.
