Works as it should, very simple and easy to use. Holds the ladder as tight as tethers without pulling on the slide supports. Totally happy with the purchase, wish they had a package deal for 2. One downside is that it is not possible to use the gutter guard when the locking jaw is used and without the 2nd the ladder has enough bounce that the box ended up finds its way down and out . . Also, the included carabiner is cheap and broke after the first few uses. It doesn't bother me, I just clip it to my seatbelt or bag.
