After reading all the reviews I was SO curious to smell this thing. Oh it's beautiful and I can't wait to fill it. once the smell wears off. I'd like to say it smells like fine rawhide, but I'm pretty sure they tan these things with human vomit and crushed stink bugs. However, I air it out and once it loses its unique scent it will make a great addition to my living room. Should I put up with the stench and buy it? Honestly that's a great price for genuine leather and good quality, strong stitching so yes. This is a good buy. However, you'll need to air it out a bit before actually letting it into your home.
