Other reviews mentioned the need to go up in size and I followed the advice. My son just got a size 6 and the other pair of shoes we have for him in a size 7 is still a bit big so I followed the recommendation and ordered a size 7. They were too small (almost 2 sizes) so sent back 8s. Size aside, these boots are great! "Like a dad," he says. These are authentic cowboy boots for my little guy. Leather upper and cuff, foam cuff and footboard, non-slip rubber outsole, what more could you ask for in a toddler boot at this price point? And the zipper inside is great for easy on and off, "I can do it myself", little cowpokes. For the price, I think it can't be beat. All the other toddler cowboy boots I found at similar prices looked cheap and flimsy. Throwing a bug on a plastic sleeve and calling it a boot doesn't mean it's a boot. Other toddler boots that "looked" like real adult cowboy boots cost more than twice as much, and with growth at that age it's not worth spending that much money for 4 months of wear. Very happy with Smokey. Mountain Toddler Hopalong and will buy another pair when he outgrows them. Thanks for a great product at a great price.
