Review on Skechers Sport Equalizer Double Loafer Men's Shoes in Loafers & Slip-Ons by Ethan Carpenter

Bought in mid-August 2019, they have been falling apart since around mid-November and are now completely unwearable. WTF? I paid almost $50 and it only took a few months. Do you think I feel ripped off? My advice: look for other similar shoes but with a longer and more reasonable wearing time before they fall apart, like 2 years? I think all the positive reviews are from people who just received the shoes and are wearing them for the first time. I would like to hear your opinion after say 6 months of almost daily wear. I wore them mostly at home and at the pool and sometimes on short trips to the grocery store or gas station. They have NOT been subjected to harsh conditions or heavy wear and tear. They just don't last. I'm so tired of wasting my hard-earned money on shoddy products (often imported) that somehow got great reviews when they didn't deserve them. In any case, after a year or so of use, look elsewhere for products with good reviews. These are the ones that keep going.
