Review on Woder 10K Gen3 Enhanced Filtration System by Michael Willis

Very happy with the filter. I had no idea you could (or should) filter all that cold water that comes out of your house's kitchen sink until I found this! This large volume filter makes it possible and makes everything so much easier than using PUR or BRITA jugs and saves tons of time over its lifetime. We received the Worder product 4 months ago and I was able to install it in an hour. Instead of the cheaper Woder unit we went with this one (with a smart head and easy to replace filters) so it would be easier to change them out every 1-2 years. This saves *days* of my life every year compared to the big PUR dispenser we had before. Here's a comparison. I calculated that the PUR dispenser took about 2 minutes of our family's time per day (on average) to fill, clean and change the filters. Multiply by 365 and then divide by 60. That's over *12 hours* a year! Save 12 hours of our lives without messing around with PUR! Compare this to Worder. The first time it took less than 1 hour to install and you're done. It will take much less time if the filter needs to be replaced quickly after a few years. Not to mention that the overall cost of Woder vs Pur is about the same. This is not a problem! Yes, and the degree and quality of filtration is excellent, and the water tastes amazing (better than pure and longer). This means that children always have access to fresh, clean and filtered water without having to wait. The only minor downside is that the cold water flow has decreased a bit, but not by much. We turned the thermostat down on our basement water heater to 130 degrees, with a triple benefit: less cold water from all the faucets, less risk of scalding children, and lower energy bills. So now we don't use or need as much cold water from the kitchen sink as we used to, other than for drinking and cooking. Conclusion: Highly recommended, enormous time saver and really the best home purchase we have made in a long time.
