This cable was sold at a lower price than petrol and I had to drive to the nearest store to collect it so it was a great buy. This is very important, the cable is much thicker than most Cat6 cables I've seen, presumably due to the extra cable shielding and larger wire. In theory, this should improve performance, but I still need to do some testing to confirm this. The only problem is that it's so thick that it's a bit inflexible. So if you need to connect two things that are stacked on top of each other, this might not be the best cable for you. My router and cable modem are stacked on top of each other and this cable is so stiff that it lifts my router off the modem so the cable can be straight again. I would still buy it again for the price paid.
