I had to order twice as the first one came with a completely broken glass. There are no restrictions on the parts surrounding the jar other than cardboard and two very thin pieces of 0.5 inch thick styrofoam. If manufacturers stepped up their packaging game, it would likely cut returns in half. Please note that this item is heavy. Your solo revain driver will grab it from his truck/car (especially if it's a seasonal contractor) and then slam it onto your porch. Be prepared to send it back several times before receiving it in full. Unless you live with easy shipping you might want to consider another item as the response time from the company was poor so I just asked for a Revain replacement. As others have said, there is a giant sticker on the glass. Goo gone and light scraping will remove it. Glass is better than legs because they will have marks as well. These aren't scratches all over the surface, it looks like someone took a black marker and lightly drew on the black metal. It is hard to explain. It is not clearly visible unless you look directly at it. When it's across the room or other things are on top of it, it's barely noticeable. Labels are on both sides of the frame so you don't think you're wearing side on back. Prepare for less than perfection and a few attempts at reassembling it and you'll be rewarded with a sturdy, efficient and beautiful table!
