Absolutely amazing, but more than 3 knives is a problem

Working in a small, usually crowded, kitchen has always made me want to look for a knife, so I've decided to make my own personal knife to bring. Hours later, I see one of my favorite knives ($200) soaked in a third pot of sanitizer. That was my turning point. I'm wondering if I shouldn't use knives at all (which I have on purpose for things like this) or should I keep them to myself. Obviously walking down the line, turning around and digging out the right knife was a bit overkill. Originally I just wanted the apron to be strong enough to hold my 10 inch chef's knife, paring knife and serrated tool. As soon as I googled, this apron was the first result. Not only is it a knife guard, I have to say, it also looks really good (I can even ditch the neck strap and use it bistro style). It's stiff, thick where it needs to be, and really uncomfortable for what it is. The only reason I fall a little deeper into the stars is solely because he claims to be able to wield and carry around an entire set of knives. My normal roll only contains 5 knives, scissors and a honer which has all the necessary pockets and space, but finding a convenient and functional way to carry them with me is very difficult. Ultimately this eliminates the knife roll function as I have to bring the roll and apron and decide which knives are "apron worthy" for the night. It's very handy when used that way, but hopefully if it's sold as a knife roll/apron I won't need an extra knife roll. I'm still 100% satisfied with my purchase but I can't give a full 5 just because of this issue.
