I used a cheap $15-$20 Xbox One headset and wanted to upgrade it because my TV has great sound and we live on a busy street. I am absolutely delighted with the quality of this headset and the sound. First, the headset is extremely comfortable - even when I wear glasses. Second, the surround sound is incredible. Not only do I hear brand new sounds in games I've been playing for a long time, but the direction of the sound is perfect for online games. You can hear the footsteps of anyone approaching, even before they approach you. In fact, the sound is so good that it made some games so tense that I was almost unprepared. I've also used it to watch a few TV shows when I didn't want to wake my roommate late at night, and the headset did a great job of that. You will see that headsets do a lot more. But for just $50, it really helps the average gamer. worth your money.
