. Suitable for my loft with a very high ceiling (14.5ft). BUT - I had to do a bit of "MacGyver" with some fishing line support (see photo)! However, this is the only affordable ceiling mount solution I could find for the Sonos One (many for walls but not ceilings). I couldn't bring myself to shell out $150 for the only other solution I found from Flexon. The two main problems with this mount are: (1) TILT IS POORLY ATTACHED: The parts used for the tilt adjustment do not mesh well and are subject to wear (e.g. if you tilt the parts if they are loosely connected). It's difficult to lock the speaker in position (it won't fall, but it might tip down) AND (2) THE SPEAKER HOLDERS COULD USE SOME GASKETS, there's a machine shop design, like the first iron man in the cave, which causes it feels like my very prized Sonos speakers are locked in with no padding for movement (as another reviewer points out). I can live with the second point, but the first was the reason why the speaker started tipping down after a few days and gave in to the heavy weight of the Sonos speaker. After climbing the stairs a few times and adjusting, I finally thought of giving him some support that wouldn't be visible from the group. I've used fishing line and it's worked great so far! Overall I wanted a way to take advantage of my high ceilings, mount it to the ceiling rather than the wall and for a very reasonable price it does the job. I might adjust it later as it could sound better to the floor but for now I really like the look of the ceiling mount. I will update my rating if the experience improves or deteriorates. Note on YIWAN: I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks more for a mount design that addresses the two issues above. When I searched, I couldn't find many people willing to ceiling mount their Sonos. Hope this helps someone out there!
