Maybe better for wall mounting than ceiling mounting.

This bracket may be a better fit for wall mounting. I used an extension cord and mounted it from the ceiling. The weight of the speaker continues to pull the speaker into a downward position. The screw that is supposed to hold the speaker together with the bracket does not have enough holding power to hold the speaker in place. I tightened the screw with a hammer drill and it still holds the position.

Pros
  • Easy to Install: Just a few minutes to install it correctly according to the user manual and hardware kit. Includes 1 Wall Mount Bracket (Black), 1 User Manual, 1 Hardware Kit
Cons
  • Replacement Availability

Great Hope, Great Disappointment

After purchasing the Arc Sonos soundbar mount and the 65" full-pivoting mount - and I loved both - I had high hopes for this simple and inexpensive speaker mount. However the quality of the components is superb, however the main hinge that keeps the speaker at the right angle for picture reproduction needs a rework, it just falls on itself - so annoying Don't do both, just go to Sonos and buy the ones that do have on their website.

Pros
  • Adjustable Length Design: This mount can be adjusted in length by installing or removing wall studs. The long type is more suitable for ceiling mounting, the short type is more suitable for wall mounting.
Cons
  • Damaged

Design flaws, do not buy.

I used this product to ceiling mount my surround back speakers. The material is decent material and it is easy to install. The biggest problem and the reason I don't recommend buying this product is that the adjustable brackets aren't strong enough to support the weight of the speaker so it just falls face down instead of in the room. There are teeth that mesh so you can adjust the mount, but the teeth are almost smooth and the screw isn't tight enough to hold the speaker. Bought in November…

Pros
  • Multi-Adjustment Direction: by loosening and tightening the side screw to adjust the tilt and pan (rotate +90° to -90° (left to right) and tilt +90° up, -90° down), according to the lateral screw is tightened, the directional locks are fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Sonos' cheapest ceiling mount - with a few design flaws

. Suitable for my loft with a very high ceiling (14.5ft). BUT - I had to do a bit of "MacGyver" with some fishing line support (see photo)! However, this is the only affordable ceiling mount solution I could find for the Sonos One (many for walls but not ceilings). I couldn't bring myself to shell out $150 for the only other solution I found from Flexon. The two main problems with this mount are: (1) TILT IS POORLY ATTACHED: The parts used for the tilt adjustment do not mesh well and are…

Pros
  • 2-in-1 design: This mount is suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. And it is suitable for Sonos One Gen 2 / One SL speaker
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great Hope, Great Disappointment

Having purchased a soundbar mount for the Arc Sonos and a full swing mount for the 65" - and loved both very much - I had high hopes for this simple and reasonably priced speaker mount. However the quality of the components is excellent, however the main hinge that holds the speaker at the right angle for viewing the image needs an overhaul. After two sessions I gave up, this system doesn't have the strength to support the Sonos 1 SL on each given height or incline it just falls on itself - so…

Lots of mods to make it work

I bought these brackets to hang my Sonos One speakers under my kitchen cabinets. Firstly, if you don't want to drill into the surface, 2 of the 5lb command strips hold these in place of the screws. Now to the devices themselves. I bought 2 and had to modify both of them to make them work. In one of them the parts weren't aligned properly so I had to file larger holes to allow the screws to line up with the bracket holes. In another, the staples did not interlock because the grooves were not cut

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Can't remember
