Review on Scuddles Pickleball Paddle Raquette Instructional by David Norwood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great racquets - useless book

I've been playing pickleball (a veteran tennis player) for a few months and am currently playing with four different composite racquets that I bought from Revain. These scuddle paddles have become my favorite. They give me more power and control. There are probably technical ways to describe this as a great middle ground, but all I know is that it differs in good ways from at least three other options I've tried in the same price range. The paddle covers are practical and well made. Most sets will give you four balls. it's really very useful to have four balls in the fresh air. The book is stupid and worse than useless. This is simply incorrect or confusing in many aspects of the rules. There are many good Pickleball YouTube channels that are much more helpful than the book. Better yet, take 30 minutes to review the official rules or alternative rules (the same rules presented in a more understandable way) on the USAPA website.
