This year I felled a tree from our garden that was bound to fall anyway and found I don't have a stand as this is my first live Christmas tree in mine adult life! I liked the simple style and it felt like it held a decent amount of water while being stable and supporting our tree. I was also concerned about our 4 cats getting into the water. I had to improvise a lid to keep them out, but the removable round plastic lid does the job perfectly and is barely noticeable. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble the Christmas tree screws because the instructions aren't very detailed. But there aren't that many ways to house all the parts, so it didn't take me long to figure it out. And the design of the screws makes them very convenient to use. I love this tree and am very happy with it.
