Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent overall - but be aware.

I bought this unit for my 10 y/o son who has lots of aggression to get out! Having played with a neighbors which seemed cheaper than this one, I set out to look for the best reviews for a punching bag like this and thought this was it. If this one is in fact the best out there, then be aware of some of its shortcomings.and probably consider anything cheaper than this as very junky.Product is relatively easy to assemble although the instructions are not at all comprehensive step-by-step.you just have to sort of figure it out by looking at the picture provided. The main punching bag unit itself handles some hard hits; however, I'd recommend filling the base with sand, rather than water both for a sturdier/heavier base, but more importantly because the seal cap does not keep water in when it gets knocked over on its side.if you use water, you'll have to glue it shut.As for the gloves, they are very cheap, within their first use, the wrist strap ripped right off.consider buying a separate pair of boxing gloves elsewhere.Otherwise enjoy!
