THE GAME. CHANGE. - Filler and Hack

Is it a bit dramatic to say that this kitty litter changed my life? Because to be honest, it was. I live in close quarters and while I know it is desirable and advisable for two cats to have more than one litter box, it just isn't realistic for my family. So I used a good clumping clay litter with baking soda and scooped my single box into my toilet spirit at least twice a day, but still couldn't completely get rid of the smell or mark, and my cats were clearly not happy with the location -- one of my cats was a bit scared of the litter box and often covered and covered everything in the bin, breaking up clumps and discarding the litter as she did so. Rather than trying to figure out how to make two drawers work again, on the advice of a friend (I have a longhair cat and a shorthair cat), I decided to try this crystal filler first and the cats were instantly hooked. The cat that was worried about the box now only comes in on business, unless it actually rushes over admiringly to watch me scoop the crystals. I was really amazed at how well it works - it really absorbs ALL liquid and urine odors. The only smells appear immediately after the cats poop, but all the moisture from them is also quickly absorbed, so the smell is less intense than before. I still use filler gin for convenience, but to be honest you could throw it away and scoop it straight down the toilet. The lingering smells are GONE. There are still some traces, but much less than with Tonspachtel. No rough, rich clumps to cling to the box and scoop. There is no longer any trace of the "toilet smellโ€ at home. Considering the instructions to only use 1 inch at a time and the fact that it takes a full two weeks before it needs to be replaced, it's actually not that much more expensive than my old brand and the improved quality of life it gave me has given more that makes up for the extra $5 I pay per month (I assume this one bin will last about a month for 2 cats and a litter box). If you haven't tried this type of bed yet, do. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.
