Do not buy. I have collected many of these shelves. It's a mess. Not only are the instructions bad, the pieces never seem to stick together. The pieces of the pole scrape paint from each other because some of them need to be matched. After connecting the posts, add the plastic clips that hold the wire shelves together. If you try to slide the shelves (you're told you may have to use a rubber mallet to lower the shelves onto these brackets - I've even tried just leaning on the palm of my hand), parts of the Clamp all over the shelf room. Possibly if you have 3 people because you need someone to hold the brackets on all 4 corners and at the same time have a hand to tap the shelf on those crazy brackets. What disappointed me the most was the packaging. When I opened the box there were probably 2 dozen of those plastic discs scattered all over the place. After taking everything apart and spending all that time putting that stupid frame back together, I realized that these plastic washers had to be between the wire shelves (to tell them apart) as there was nothing else between them. As a result, they simply detached from each other during transportation. Since this thing is black, you won't notice it until you look very closely. You must try to tint any scratched areas so they don't rust. There is absolutely no justification for this. Maybe even plastic bags helped.
