Integrated key fob chip for our 2013 explorer lost. The dealer wanted $300 for a replacement plus $150 for the software key and remote. no Do not do it. . I got a key with a chip from the locksmith for little money, but still needed the remote control. This device complies with the FCC ID for Ford remote controls and is programmed at the driveway according to the instructions on the web. If the FCC ID matches, they should work for your application. Ignore the owner's manual that takes you to the dealer. There are several programming methods, if one doesn't work, try another. I did not rely on the seller's instructions as I followed other advice and it worked the first time. This is not a remote control with a built-in chip. But I have $370 in my pocket and everything works!
