It works and I had the key!

Worked on my 2007 Ford F150 4.6 V8 Triton! There are no remote driving directions, but it's very easy to find driving directions for your car on YouTube and sync them to your car. For me I had to sit in my truck with the truck unlocked, pretty quickly turn the ignition on 8 times without starting the truck, after that the truck would lock and unlock automatically. Then press the lock button and it chirps and locks, press the unlock button and your set. Alarm button, lock and unlock all…

Save best on home accessories

I followed the instructions exactly. The key fob has worked several times. Reprogrammed and got the same result. I thought the battery might be low. I put a new battery in and the result is the same. I bought one from auto parts and paid 50€. It worked great from the first programming and hasn't stopped working. I left the junk because it costs more gas than returning it. You get what you pay for. I had to give one star in order to post a review. The remote control should get zero stars as it…

Extremely disappointing

I just bought a used Ford that didn't come with a key fob. I bought this from Revain instead of going to the dealer and now wish I had bothered. There were no instructions. You need to visit the company's website or watch a YouTube video to see how it works. I followed the instructions and my device responded, but the remote does absolutely nothing. He didn't chirp, he didn't change locks, and he didn't affect anything at all. I've tried several times and got the same results even though my car

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some errors

Works perfectly in anti-theft

Worked great on my 2002 Lariat F150. Easy to program. All you have to do is get in the truck and close the door. Turn the key from off to start 8 times (do not actually start the truck). On the 8th cycle, leave it in working position. You should hear the lock cycle. Then press any button on the key fob within 20 seconds. The locks should work again. Be sure to use other key fobs as well, even if they are already programmed. The same thing. Once you hear the lock cycle after pressing the key fob

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

I made it on interior

Procedure for a 2004 Ford Ranger. Close all doors, unlock all doors with the door switch. The ignition lock has 3 positions in front of the start position. 0=off, 1=acc, 2=dashboard lights and the last position is start. Turn the key 8 times, starting from position 0 to 2. (Off/On)x8, leave ON on the last scale, the door locks should respond when entering programming mode. Simply press the button on the remote control to program it, the door locks will respond. Remove the key and you're done…

Pros
  • This is amazing

Doesn't work for anti theft

I was able to put my car into programming mode with no problem but this key fob didn't respond at all. My original still worked but I broke the key ring slot so I needed a replacement. So at this point, I opened both fobs to see what wasn't working. To my surprise, both the battery and the circuit board were defective. I put a "new" battery in my old device and it wasn't working at the time. Just a bad battery I thought. Well then. I put my working battery in the new device and it still didn't…

Pros
  • Complete electronics box with battery
Cons
  • Not bad

Great low cost OEM alternative

Integrated key fob chip for our 2013 explorer lost. The dealer wanted $300 for a replacement plus $150 for the software key and remote. no Do not do it. . I got a key with a chip from the locksmith for little money, but still needed the remote control. This device complies with the FCC ID for Ford remote controls and is programmed at the driveway according to the instructions on the web. If the FCC ID matches, they should work for your application. Ignore the owner's manual that takes you to…

Surprised it actually worked!

I was hesitant at first but I'm so glad I bought this remote to replace my 2007 F150. Programming instructions are included with your order. The steps are easy but I couldn't program the remote control. I almost returned it but I'm glad I didn't. Instead, I turned to YouTube to see what I was doing wrong! I quickly realized that I wasn't pressing the (on/off) button as fast as the people in the programming videos. Eager to see if THAT could really be the "cause" for my three failed programming…

Pros
  • Rugged, durable construction, easy to use
Cons
  • Low maintenance
