Procedure for a 2004 Ford Ranger. Close all doors, unlock all doors with the door switch. The ignition lock has 3 positions in front of the start position. 0=off, 1=acc, 2=dashboard lights and the last position is start. Turn the key 8 times, starting from position 0 to 2. (Off/On)x8, leave ON on the last scale, the door locks should respond when entering programming mode. Simply press the button on the remote control to program it, the door locks will respond. Remove the key and you're done. You must have all the remotes with you so you can program them all. You need to apply some pressure to this button to unlock the key, so you can turn the ignition on 8 times in just 10 seconds.
