Epare vs Bodum vs Jocobi – Epare Wins

Epare 12oz is a winner for me. All three cups are good. Without testing it, I think they all keep you warm about the same. Bodum Bistro feels best in my hand, much heavier but holds less and costs a lot more than Epare and Jocobi. Bodum was my first of these and I "threw" one down the sink as soon as it slipped from my hand. Note that I didn't just drop it, I threw it in the sink. It broke and I decided that at $33 a pair I should look for other options. Epare 12 oz was on sale and I liked the idea of adding an extra two ounces so the full cup wouldn't be so close to the rim. They are lighter than Bodum but don't feel too light. Wanted to add two more cups, tried Jocobi. This is the lowest price of these three options. They are by far the lightest. They are not so nice and high-quality in the hand. And they're also only 10 ounces like Bodum but seem to hold a little less. All coffee cup photos show exactly 10 ounces of coffee. So even 10 oz cups hold just over 10 oz. After owning all three for several weeks, I reached for Epare and Bodum every morning. If money weren't an issue I'd suggest Bodum if you're ok with a slightly smaller cup. IMO, Epare is the best mug for the overall price. Outstanding quality in feel, size and appearance.
