I have an older dog with digestive problems as well as problems typical of old age. I researched supplements while we were battling another bout of his colitis and looking for a new Rx food for him. It was weeks before he got his new Rx and food, so he ate chicken and rice in the meantime. He was just a little hesitant to try spirulina. I put something on my finger and after a few breaths he licked it off. I sprinkled it on his chicken and rice and he swallowed it. He's been eating it ever since. I know the new food helped his condition as well, but I truly believe Spirulina helped too. His inflammation is gone, his coat is shiny again, I can tell he's in less pain (much less lameness than I've seen in a long time, almost none now - it's definitely spirulina), his gas is gone and some of his youthfulness is back returned to him the energy he once had...sometimes he's playing like a puppy again. Actually ordered again and am waiting for delivery today.
