Review on 🚲 6-Speed Bicycle Shift Lever - Right Hand Thumb Shifter SL-TX30-6R for Folding Bikes, Mountain Biking, and City Cycling by Antoine Scisson

I replaced my 9 year old son's Guardian bike with a rotary derailleur (7 speed, MicroShift). He had trouble using the rotary shifter for low gears. Low gear is still hard for his little thumb to reach with this shifter, but it's MUCH easier than it was on the old Twister. My local bike shop wanted to charge us about $55-$60 for a week-long wait job. I'm one of the least qualified people you'll meet, but I was able to install it in under an hour with no problems (thanks YouTube!). With other things I bought for the job (new grips, cable cutters, multi-tool, cable crimp), it's still cheaper than the local bike shop. Also, I now have additional tools to learn to do other DIY bike projects. It works very well so far.
