Ideal for Prisma colored pencils!
This is the only sharpener that fits my Prisma pencils. I've tried two other sharpeners that work well with my other soft core pencils, but not well with Prisma pencils. Finally they have a good point and the lead doesn't collapse anymore. I'm so glad I bought this! Update 6/28/15: This is still the best Prisma pencil sharpener BUT after regular use it falls apart too often leaving sawdust everywhere which is a real pain. I'm deducting a star for this annoying glitch. Wrapping a rubber band around it works
