I was able to use this mini amp with an old DVD player hooked up to a flat screen TV that didn't have a headphone jack. I simply used an adapter cable with two RCA plugs (to the DVD player) and a stereo mini plug on the other end that plugs into the stereo plug that came with the amp. This may not be a problem at all, but with two-pronged headphone plugs you may need to pull the plug out a bit to make proper contact with both channels.
