I bought this hat to hide my fears while at work. Do the same but I think my curls are too thick, they are less than 2ft from the root so they should definitely fit, but it looks very awkward and the cap barely extends past my hairline with my dreadlocks. The strap isn't very stretchy but it works to keep my anxieties off my face during normal wear, it's fairly comfortable and stays in place even in decent winds, like an open car window (I lost a couple window caps, lol), but if you have a smaller head it may be a bit looser. It didn't work exactly what I wanted, but it's not designed for what I wanted either, so I classed it as a regular light beanie, it would definitely be good for summer and way cooler than wearing a tam, even if it were possible doesn't match my fears.
