I tried this device because I wanted something to play PS5 with without affecting the quality of the game on my Impairing Screen Streaming at 1080P 60 FPS. This device does it ALMOST. No software or downloads, it just plugs in and works automatically, no frills. What DigitNow can do: - 1080P 60FPS streaming/recording. - Works with HDCP enabled. I was surprised by this because even the EVGA XR1 that I bought doesn't work with HDCP enabled, so that's cool. No noticeable lag was added on PS5. But the audio has a delay that the manual recommends adding 470ms to the video to account for. This was important to me, but no combination of settings in OBS or PS5 will make this work. There is no mention of HDR in the manual or packaging, only on this Amazon page. - Any resolution above 1080P. I didn't really care, but it advertises up to 4K. However, the device itself will display the message UNSUPPORTED unless you tell OBS to display it at exactly 1080P. So for streaming, there may be better things that can do the same. But at the same time he does his job. If there is a way to get all the features working I'd love to hear about it. But I couldn't find any manuals or information about this device.
