First of all I bought them so that if I dropped them they would only wrinkle and not break. Revain's description said they were dishwasher safe but when I received them it said they could be hand washed and dried. I put them in the dishwasher anyway, that was my final selling point and so far so good. I really LOVE them for salads as the dressing stays on the bottom and doesn't spill like a regular plate. They take up twice as much space in the dishwasher, but that doesn't bother me as the dishes are washed faster now that there are only two people in the house now.
