I bought this webcam specifically to take proctored college exams. Specs were consistently better than required, so I figured I was in good shape. Unfortunately, the reality is that this camera falls short in almost every way. The image was blurry and low resolution, and it almost cost me the opportunity to take the test I was preparing for. I think the saying goes, you get what you pay for. If your needs are not very basic, I cannot recommend this camera at any price.
