My son needed headphones for a tech class in kindergarten, so I was looking for a cheap, comfortable noise-limiting headset. It won't last too long on 5-year-olds, so under $50 is ideal. In general, in the $20 price range, you can expect some sacrifices in quality, construction, and sound. I unboxed it and to be honest I was very impressed. The earbuds have a sleek design, in fact it looks like their new design by moving the adjustable straps from the outside to a more kid-friendly inside setting. The headphone cords are DETACHABLE, which is a major downfall on these kids' things, and they have right and left input jacks, a well-thought-out convenience consideration. The earbuds come with two cords, one even has a microphone which can come in handy for playing games and chatting with the school learning app. The ear cups are rotatable and very comfortable and the whole set has a really nice powder feel, non-slip for little hands. The most amazing thing about this and unexpected luxury is the sound. I'm really into sound and I have to tell you that they compare well with adult cans. The mids are clean, the highs are crisp and there's a bit of panache in the base. In comparison, I bought some beats for my daughter because she thinks they're cool and popular, but I'd bet them against her any day. from technology into them. I highly recommend them.
