I think most wide brimmed hats look like either granny or baby hats but sun/straw hats leave hair combs and don't fit beach chairs so figured put it on one Cruise. It looks decent for such a functional wide brim. It's not fashionable, of course, but it's also not an embarrassment on the beach. The hat is adjustable from very small to very large. I have a larger than average head so sometimes the hats don't adjust far enough - I could make a lot more out of this than I need. Little did I know it has a detachable strap and is very handy on some windy islands. I love that I can use it to tie my hair in a ponytail and give my head some sun too. It's also very easy to adjust while wearing it, so it's always been comfortable. It was also much easier to pack than a large sun hat.
