I ordered these to extend the sensor range for a whole house FloodStop system that I have just installed. We have a large number of plumbing fixtures where we don't have a floor drain in the basement. So one of them goes next to the water heater, one next to the pressure tank and two in the area of the water filter and softener. Activate sensors and FloodStop. We are already testing this live due to a cracked PVC threaded connector, schedule 40 (installed by a plumber, no less). I will be ordering at least 2 more sensors to enable remote detection of dishwasher/kitchen sink and laundry.
