Flicker bad good for halogen bulbs

I tried using them to replace halogen bulbs in under cabinet lights but they flickered badly and were too bright. I returned them and went to a big store and bought another brand of leds which worked great. I don't think this is necessarily a sign that these are low quality lamps, I think it was just a compatibility issue with the ballast in the fixture. From the processing they were ok. Please note that unlike halogen bulbs and many other LED bulbs, they are not made of glass. LEDs, circuitry and chips are encased in a single piece of transparent rubber plastic. I don't know if they will hold up, yellow or become brittle. The base pins are quite flimsy and bend easily so you have to be careful when inserting them - the big box had much stronger pins. price, but they didn't work in jigs.
