The lamp is too long and thick

I read the description and it seemed the right length to me. It lit up when plugged in, but I couldn't put the glass cover back on because the bulb's diameter is too round, making it too thick. I had to return it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great bulbs but won't fit my washing machine

These are great G8 120v 20w bulbs. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because the title says 1.38 and the packaging says 1.4. Due to the height of the piston and pins, they are too long to fit well in my under counter G8 washer mounts. With this version installed in the device, it is not possible to reinstall the UV filter with glass. The lamp on the left was the original and the lamp on the right was one of them.

Perfect replacement for LG 6912A40002J

Our LG microwave had a burnt bulb over the stove and had no markings to locate a suitable replacement. We eventually found the part number LG 6912A40002J and the manual listed 130 volts 50 watts, so that seemed like a good estimate (measuring with pins was about the same too). I swapped it out and it fits perfectly! Notice that it flickered a bit at first, but now it works just like the old lightbulb. Both high and low settings work flawlessly. 10 bulbs cost less than 2 in a home shop or…

Amazing Deal on Halogen Light Bulbs

This is an amazing deal on those tiny light bulbs I have about 30 of under cabinets in my kitchen. Home Depot killed me because they don't carry them in bulk and basically only have 2-4 packs on the floor - so I never have enough to do all my lights and the cost is MUCH more. This has allowed me to replace about 12 lightbulbs, and I have an additional balance of about $50 less than I would pay for the same thing at Home Depot. Note: Be careful what size you need - there are two different sizes,

Correct specs, wrong size bulbs, terrible packaging

Small halogen bulbs are expensive so instead of three xenon brand bulbs at Lowes for $12 I bought these. All the specs on these bulbs are the same as all the specs on the xenon bulb kit except the actual part of the bulb is huge and out of the light so I can't reattach the protective lens. You might think that the same characteristics are suitable for the same lamps. And whoever packed them threw them into a giant box along with a six-pound desk book and 48 AA batteries that weighed 2.5 pounds…

Exactly as advertised. Make sure you get the right watts!

I have a lamp with 4 of these bulbs. The pears were unmarked. I found 20w, 35w and 50w bulbs at Revain. So I got 35W and after replacing the 3 that were burnt they were MUCH dimmer than the old ones. So I ordered 50w bulbs and they are better but they are still much dimmer than the original bulbs. Someone somewhere probably has a 75w or 100w version of this, but I'll pull out the bright one and stick all 4 the same way. So I'm glad it comes in a 10 pack. They work great. They are as advertised.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Expensive, low light and hot, but they fit the holes.

The LG microwave that came to my house had burnt bulbs, melted plastic and burnt spots on the shades. I needed a light on the plate below so I removed that. They give very little light and heat up, but they fit in the holes. I suspect the previous owners were trying to get more light by buying brighter bulbs and melting everything in the process. I'm not going to try to make it brighter with hotter bulbs, but it was just plain stupid of LG to make lights so dim that we can only expect that tiny

Flicker bad good for halogen bulbs

I tried using them to replace halogen bulbs in under cabinet lights but they flickered badly and were too bright. I returned them and went to a big store and bought another brand of leds which worked great. I don't think this is necessarily a sign that these are low quality lamps, I think it was just a compatibility issue with the ballast in the fixture. From the processing they were ok. Please note that unlike halogen bulbs and many other LED bulbs, they are not made of glass. LEDs, circuitry…

Very bright! Halogen

later In our master bathroom we have three light fixtures above each mirror that are recessed into the cabinet. I bought them to replace two of the six bulbs that had failed. Although they were the same wattage and voltage as the bulbs I replaced, they were much brighter. So I went ahead and replaced all six fasteners. After four years in this house, my wife is finally happy with the lighting in our bathroom! I had some trouble getting them into the mount, but all I had to do was wrap tape…
