later In our master bathroom we have three light fixtures above each mirror that are recessed into the cabinet. I bought them to replace two of the six bulbs that had failed. Although they were the same wattage and voltage as the bulbs I replaced, they were much brighter. So I went ahead and replaced all six fasteners. After four years in this house, my wife is finally happy with the lighting in our bathroom! I had some trouble getting them into the mount, but all I had to do was wrap tape around a pair of pliers and then use them to push them in. with some extra power (I didn't want to crush them with my fingers and get shards of glass in my fingers). The pliers did their job. I'm not sure if it was my fixtures or these bulbs that made them difficult to install in fixtures. However, the old lightbulbs I replaced were able to return to normal. I also have one of these lights already off. Although I need to find out if the problem is with the bulb or the bracket. Overall I would recommend them.
